Jerry M. Reed is a resident license in Florida with a concentrated practice in the counties of Pinellas and Hillsborough.
He is Non-Resident licensed in the following states: NC & WA
Licensed Life & Health agent, Series 6, 7, and 63, and is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).

Career Highlights
After career in Major League Baseball, many of Jerry’s past teammates approached him for advice on personal financial planning. This was his first real introduction to the financial services industry and Jerry has been in the business of giving advice ever since.

Jerry meets with his clients at least once a year, but does consult with them at least twice a year to review any changes that may impact their financial situation. He considers himself a problem solver not a product salesperson. He reviews each client’s situation and comes up with a prudent strategy to protect the assets of his clients while providing security and wealth.
Most Gratifying Aspect of Being an Advisor
Jerry is most gratified in hearing the level of trust that his clients place in him with their financial future.
A Client’s Personal Story
Jerry tells of a client who passed away about four years ago. Before his death, the client had done very well in variable investments. Upon his client’s death, Jerry advised his wife to switch her strategy to a more conservative approach. In the spring of 2008 she moved money into guaranteed products. During the meltdown of 2008, this particular client did not lose any money.
Giving Back
Jerry gives back to his community by working with local church ministries, sponsoring youth athletic groups and being a member of local community groups. In addition, Jerry volunteers as a public member on a judicial grievance committee.
